Alkoomi, Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 Frankland River

The Frankland River wine region is in West Australia, is home to just eight wineries and located just 50 miles from the ocean. This proximity to the ocean provides a mild climate, with cooling breezes that enables the estate's fruit to maintain freshness, vivacity and purity. Such is the case for the wines of the family owned Alkoomi wine estate. The winery operates with a green energy and sustainability vision and low intervention is the theme of the winemaking. Theit cabernet is telltale cabernet fruit: cedar, black current, grip, tension and rich luscious fruit. The use of new wood is moderate, in order to accdentuate and amplify the fine fruit driven aromatics and flavors of the wine.
