Second labels of the classified growths of Bordeaux are wines made from the property's younger vines and for this reason are excluded from the estate's flagship label. They are stylistically very close to the flagship wine. The wines are made with as much care. attention and meticulous dedication to the highest quality as their more illustrious cousins. In this case the Baron offers expressive aromatics of plum, cherry, earth and cedar spice. The palate is powerful and displays pitch perfect balance of cassis, black fruit and tannic structure that provides definition, focus and drive.
