Bodegas Muga, Reserva "Unfiltered" 2022 Rioja Spain

One of our favorite wineries! Aged in oak for 24 months, 70% French, 30% American 94 points James Suckling, 91 Wine Spectator Red fruit aromas with blackberries and spices, well balanced by smoked aromas, subtle vanilla and roast coffee nuances. A smooth, mellow attack, with tannins wrapping the sides of the mouth with hints of menthol. Pair with veal, Iberian ham and braised meats.
