Crivelli, Grignolino D'Asti 2024 Piedmont, Italy

We're happy to be offering this lovely wine. It proves that wines of power, persistence and vigor need not be darkly colored or deeply extracted. In fact, Marco Maria Crivelli's Grignolino is so lightly colored one might think it a rose. Wild Strawberry, herbs and spice come through on the nose and are carried along on the palate by the wine's firm and balanced tannins. There is so much energetic verve and charm to this wine. It is deliciously sinewy and if tasted blind might even be mistaken for a lighter bodied Nebbiolo. One of our faves for sure.
