Domaine Chofflet, "Heritage" Givry 2020 Burgundy

The Cote Chalonnaise is a source for well priced fine burgundy wine. Like all things related to wine, amd perhaps even more so in Burgundy, look for thew right addresses: winemaker and vineyard reign supreme. The Chofflet's are such winemakers and their limestone-clay hillside vines provide a fine demonstration of the quality of these soils. Succulent, supple and ample are apt descriptors held in check by fine tannins and an underlying raciness. An outstanding value in Pinot Noir from Burgundy.
