Latin for leaf, Folium wines are a labor of love from Takaki Okada. Begun in 2003 the estate is a small 20 acre wine estate located in the Brancott Valley of the greater Marlborough growing area on New Zealand's south island. Dry farmed and organic viticulture Folium's Pinot is quite gorgeous. Rich supple red cherry fruit with sound acidity that provides spine and lift this is a succulent Pinot Noir that will do rare lamb chops proud.
