LaCoste-Borie, Pauillac, 2018 Bordeaux, France

This second wine of Grand Puy LaCoste has a beautiful structure supported by well rounded tannins. Composed primarily of Cabernet Sauvignon, with Merlot and Cabernet Franc to finish the blend the wine is beautifully structured, showing youthful blackberry and plum fruit. Notes of cedar and spice add depth. This is a really nice wine that can be enjoyed with pleasure now and that will gain in roundness and charm with a little aging.
