Another white wine gem from the Bea's. For this wine he uses the regional clone of Trebbiano called Spoletino which is a noble clone of the grape, making wines of weight and complexity. The juice is fermented off the skins up to 3 weeks and aged in stainless steel for two years or more. Only 3000 bottles or so of this wine is made and demand can never satisfy supply. Aromatics of apricot preserves, asian spice and honeysuckle followed by a palate with sherry notes, almond skins and orange peel. Very savory and alluring.
