Picard, Sancerre "Le Chemin de Marloup" 2024 France

The Picard family have been growing grapes and making wine in Sancerre since 1750. Over the generations they have remained focused on a deep respect for their land and its fruits. Their domaine is located on the slopes of the town of Bué- inarguably a sweet spot of limestone and clay soils within the large Sancerre appellation. Not all vineyard is not so ideally suited for the Sauvignon Blanc that makes Sancerre the Sancerre we all appreciate. Picard's Sancerre are bright with citrus and minerality. There is balance and a refined elegance that distinguishes their wines as deserving of the fame of the name: Sancerre.
