In the far northwest corner of Italy is the cool alpine region of Valle d' Aosta. When carefully tended to grape varieties matched to this cool climate produce fantastic high toned, mineral flecked wines. Petite Arvine is such a grape and this wine such a beauty. Attractive medium gold in color, with bright aromatics of slate, citric, and pear notes this is a lovely wine with compelling richness, depth and minerality.
