Description
The Dogliani hills are immediately south of Barolo in Piedmont and are considered the terroir in which the Dolcetto grape can reach its true complexity. Nicoletta Bocca of San Fereolo makes such Dolcetto through her low intervention, no- tech winemaking. Biodynamically grown fruit from vines averaging 35 years of age, fermented with the wild yeasts on its skins and raised in stainless steel her wines exhibit a luxurious perfume and the freshness of deep rich fruit on the palate.
