Yves Cuilleron, Viogner "Les Vignes D'a cote" 2023 Collines Rhodadiennes

The Cuilleron family have been growing grapes in this region of the northern Rhone since the early 20th century. These are hilly vineyards, with granitic soils. If you were to notice a dominant mineral quality to his viognier you'd be spot on. Ripe stone fruit on both nose and palate, this wine has complexity from it's floral notes and spice. Generous yet firm with acidity that provides balance enjoy this beauty with grilled shrimp or scallops with a touch of curry. Simply delicious.
